This body of work reveals a darker side to the aspirations of youth. My subject matter explores the pressure surrounding young girls and women in a society consumed with identity, striving for an ideal. In a world obsessed with beauty and youth, demanding of children and teens to be objectified, but at the same time such compression to stay youthful, I aim to challenge sexual attitudes, values and society’s exemplification of beauty.
